The seventh symbol letter Zayin is a sword. Swords are big knives that cut things apart. In Hebrew cutting things apart is called circumcising. Sometimes we use our words like sword words to cut up what people say to us.Then we say our own words back to them. This is called word fighting. God's words written in the Bible are sword words.

God tells us to use His sword words to fight with.This is called fighting for your faith. Our enemies will tell us lies about God. We need to protect our minds from them.

God wants us to defend ourselves with His sword words. Jesus is called the word of God. The words in the Bible were written about Him. He is our savior. When we accept Jesus as our Savior He begins to take away the wrong ideas about Him in our minds. His sword words cut into peoples minds and remove the wrong ideas about him from their hearts. Then He puts the right ideas in. Our mind is our heart. This recreating of our mind is called circumcising our hearts. In the book of Romans it says, "Circumcision is a matter of the heart." That means evil against God is removed from our minds.
