Tsawdeek # 18
1 John Chapter 4 verse 8 says, "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love."
John Chapter 14 v 15 says, " If you love me obey my commandments..."
The eighteenth symbol letter Tsawdeek is a hook. We catch fish with hooks by putting food on the hook. When the fish bite it they can't get away. We trick fish into getting hooked by what they want. What we want is called our desires. Desires can get us hooked. Satan tricked Adam and Eve into desiring the fruit of the knowledge of Good and evil. Then they took it and ate it. Satan put a wrong idea an evil hook word into their mind. Then they did what he wanted. God doesn't want us to be tricked into getting hooked by Satan. God's word says we should guard our hearts desire. God is the most important desire we can have. Our hearts desire should be to obey God by loving His son Jesus and each other as ourselves. Deuteronomy Chapter 6 verse 5 and Matthew 22 verse 37 say,
" Love God with all of your heart all of your soul and all of your might..."
